· GIS Analysis and Modeling for Environmental Applications:

a. Basic Module: Getting the data and information for spatial analysis and modeling, exploration of the trend data, GIS and environmental grounds, geographical databases and infrastructure spatial data (SDI).

b. Specialized Module: Process modeling, spatial modeling environment with an emphasis on description and application of spatial analysis functions for raster and vector structures (functions of reclassification, overlay, proximity and distance and connectivity, networking, continuous surface analysis and mathematical operators), integration of raster and vector data, digital terrain models and GIS models.

c. Application Module: application exercises using GIS software, to enhance knowledge in: Spatial modeling of environmental variables, functions and implementation of urban and rural spatial analysis, development, implementation and dissemination of geographic information in environmental applications.
