COURSE FEATURES:
Objective:

• Manage efficiently Geographic Information Systems in any field of application.
• Understand the concepts of mapping, theoretical bases, rationale and conceptualization of Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
• Explain the main characteristics of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). • Know how to structure the data (geometry and attributes) in Information Systems Geographic to understand its functioning. DATES

Duration: from August 25 to November 12
Hours: Monday and Tuesday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Duration: August 26 to 13
November Hours: Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

APPLICANT PROFILE:
• Venezuela and / or foreigners resident in the country
• Graduate, Engineer, TSU and / or students in careers related to Earth studies.
• Knowledge of standard office applications (word processing, creating and managing tables
excel among others).
• Basic knowledge of hardware (Components of a Computer).
• Preferably with expertise in urban management and / or territorial.
